The FedEx Trade Networks Tonawanda, NY location recently collected over 60 bags of nonperishable items for the local Community Mission in Niagara County and the City Mission in Erie County during the 2011 United Way Tote Challenge.

The team’s goal was to collect as many nonperishable items as possible to make an impact for the upcoming holiday season.  After they finished collecting the items, team members loaded up trucks and delivered all of the goods to the Erie and Niagara Community Mission locations.  FedEx Trade Networks team members made a difference in many lives and provided food to approximately 450 people who would otherwise not have something that many of us take for granted.

FedEx Trade Networks cares about our community. The Tonawanda team reached out to the community and demonstrated the tremendous value of teamwork toward accomplishing its goals. Our thanks and congratulations to all who participated in the 2011 United Way Tote Challenge
